St Mary’s Church of England (Aided) Primary School, located in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, sought to create a comprehensive and user-friendly website that effectively serves its school community, including current and prospective students, parents, and staff.

Contact Us: Offering multiple ways for stakeholders to reach the school, including a contact form, phone number, and address.

Incorporating the School Vision:

The website design intentionally reflects St. Mary’s Primary School’s vision and Christian values, which are central to the school’s identity.

The vision statement, “To provide firm foundations and create opportunities for everyone to be inspired and flourish within a supportive community demonstrating branches of wisdom, integrity, compassion, patience, and joy,” was woven throughout the site’s design and content:

Visual Design: The website uses a warm and inviting school colour, along with images that capture the nurturing and supportive environment of the school, taken by the talented Jeeny Aston of Silver Apples Photography.

Content: Each section of the website highlights the school’s commitment to its values. For instance, the “About Us” and “Curriculum” pages emphasise the importance of wisdom, integrity, compassion, patience, and joy in the educational experience.

Interactive Features: Features like newsletters include stories and examples of how the school community lives out these values daily.

Navigation and Structure: The user-friendly structure ensures that all users can easily access information, reflecting the school’s inclusive and supportive ethos.
